As a training officer for the United Nations Relief and Work Agency (UNRWA), Maysaa Qozat supports the safety and security of UNRWA staff by training them on safety and security procedures that mitigate the effects of emergencies on individuals. During her fellowship in the United States, Qozat hopes to develop a better understanding of women’s economic and educational empowerment and to gain knowledge about entrepreneurship. Upon returning from the Community Solutions Program, Qozat plans to help women enter the workforce by giving them opportunities to strengthen relevant soft and technical skills by conducting trainings for women and then connecting them with job opportunities.
