As the Assistant Project Officer at the Women of Uganda Network, Moses Owiny supports programs for low-income rural women in Uganda that focus on disseminating information to women farmers through Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). During his CSP fellowship, Owiny worked with the YWCA of Genesee County, training rural women in upstate New York on the use of technology and other critical job skills. Upon his return to Uganda, Owiny worked to connect women’s farming cooperatives directly with buyers, enhance their connectivity to real market prices, and increase their access to information and communication technology tools.
