As a disability rights advocate and general secretary of the Pakistan Para-Climbing Club, Muhammad Awais has experience in inclusive sports and a deep understanding of policies linked to the rights of people with disabilities. For his CSP Practicum, Awais was placed at The Split Second Foundation in New Orleans, Louisiana where he collaborated on an initiative to educate, enlighten, and engage the New Orleans hospitality industry on the importance of accessibility standards .For his follow-on project in Pakistan, Awais plans to work for the parliamentary approval and implementation of a disability rights bill that is true in letter and in spirit.
