As Program Officer at Christian Care, Mutsa Mukome works with individuals affected by political violence in Zimbabwe and helps facilitate a number of psychosocial support and income-generating programs for these individuals. During her CSP fellowship Mukome worked with OneAmerica in Seattle, Washington, advocating for immigrant populations and raising awareness among communities about the issues that affect them. Upon her return to Zimbabwe, Mukome worked to create awareness of Zimbabwe immigration laws and reforms with a particular emphasis on internally displaced persons and refugee laws to increase integration and tolerance among children and youth.
