Nakaida works in the civil construction sector as the Founder and Managing Director of HKBL Construction. For residence and private sector entities and government agencies that require quality construction services and education throughout their building processes, HKBL Construction is a civil works company that uses the best materials and solutions available to ensure quality, longevity, minimum wastage, and budget-friendly construction options. Nakaida aims to attract five new clients by August 2024 and ultimately to become a regionally and internationally known provider of quality construction services in Guyana. Coming into the YLAI Fellowship, Nakaida’s top business challenge is Scaling & Expansion, especially overcoming labor shortages. During the Fellowship Placement, Nakaida hopes to gain knowledge and make connections to help them grow as a business owner.
