As the Deputy Director of PO "Nigini Kuhiston", Nazarbek Nazarbekov identifies grants; manages projects for social and economic development of community; writes project proposals; and writes progress reports and success stories. While in the U.S., Nazarbekov worked with The Center of Integration and Advancement of New Americans in New York City, where he coordinated ESL classes for migrants from different parts of the world; developed teaching materials, curriculum, and designing teaching plans; and taught ESL and civics classes to migrants. Since his return to Tajikistan, Nazarbekov has focused his efforts on leading a project for youth and adults in a remote area of GBAO, Tajikistan who lack financial resources to study ESL, computer, and math classes for free.
