As the founder and global coordinator of a for-purpose organization called Clean up Nepal, Neelam Pradhananga has over four years of experience working on environmental issues in Nepal with a focus on creating healthier environments for communities through improved solid waste management and water, sanitation and hygiene. During her fellowship in the United States, she hopes to learn about community development and social enterprise, while also developing her skills in finance and project monitoring and evaluation. Upon returning from the Community Solutions Program, Pradhananga plans to develop a program that empowers community members to act as change agents in cleaning their communities and improving their waste management systems.
