As the lead of curriculum, project and community development for Surge Bangladesh, Niamat Ullah Al Galib has experience implementing peacebuilding by developing curriculum and modules, conducting training, and managing projects through community engagement. For his CSP practicum, Niamat collaborated with the Better Evidence Project within the Carter School for Peace and Conflict Resolution at George Mason University in Arlington, Virginia where he will developed and launched an online resource center, curated resources, and generated ideas to progress peacebuilding initiatives. For his follow-on project in Bangladesh, Niamat plans to establish a Peace Center to train youth in peacebuilding, ethical leadership, community cohesion, and inclusion of religious minorities.
