Nuriyah Iqbal
Nuriyah Iqbal is a program associate for the Global Undergraduate Exchange Program in Pakistan (Global UGRAD-Pakistan). In this role, she contributes to all aspects of the team’s development, including administrative and logistical support, project implementation, monitoring and evaluation.
Prior to joining IREX, Nuriyah worked as a project coordinator for a healthcare facility, where she collaborated with practitioners to plan and implement various health interventions. Nuriyah has also spent time working on health equity projects in Punjab, Pakistan, which concurrently paved the way for her interest in international development beyond the scope of healthcare.
Nuriyah’s passion lies within development projects and initiatives focused on youth advocacy, leadership, and minority rights in South Asia. Nuriyah holds a bachelor's in community and behavioral health from the University of Maryland.
