As a community development expert and senior project coordinator for Project Management Unit of the World Bank, Nyamsuren Bayarsaikhan forms self-help groups and encourages communities to create citizen action networks, which enhances transparency and accountability in public services by mobilizing and harnessing civil society organizations. During her fellowship in the United States, she hopes to learn about conflict resolution alternatives and develop advocacy packages by using success stories from other countries. Upon returning from the Community Solutions Program, Bayarsaikhan plans to implement a constructive cooperation capacity building project to increase mutual understanding and effective cooperation between public officials and residents.
