Mr. Oleg Kareev is a senior lawyer in an organization providing legal support for small and medium sized enterprises in Moscow and currently works on improving business conditions evaluated through the World Bank’s Doing Business research. Mr. Kareev graduated from the Academy of Economic Safety where he later worked as scientific researcher providing methodological support the investigation process of economic, tax and other types of crimes. Also he served as a postgraduate in the sphere of criminal law.

His previous professional experience includes working in one of the Big 4 Accounting Firms and a Russian legal firm. He is skilled in corruption and fraud investigation services, corporate and civil law. While in the United States, he plans to conduct research on improving getting electricity procedures for entrepreneurs and reforming web-based services in this sphere. He will work with Dr. Bernard Weinstein, Associate Director of the Maguire Energy Institute at Southern Methodist University’s Cox School of Business.
