Parvana Bayramova reports on human rights issues for the Turan News Agency and the Voice of America’s Azerbaijani service. Much of her coverage has focused on media freedom and free expression cases, and she has reported on the trials of political activists and journalists. Ms. Bayramova has worked as a journalist since 2007, and received a Master’s Degree in journalism from the Georgian Institute of Public Affairs in Tbilisi in 2013.
