Paul Gangoso is the President and CEO of Ecolink, a non-profit organization focusing on public finance management, social accountability and anticorruption initiatives. His experience spans fields such as governance, social accountability, environmental conservation and sustainability, and peace and human rights. While in the U.S., Gangoso worked with Common Cause Georgia, establishing networks with civil society organizations that have a similar mission to his organization back home and assisting in developing media products. Having returned to the Philippines, he is currently collaborating with other US Exchange Alumni in his project ASEAN Open Institute which aims to provide free college education to youth from Southeast Asian countries. The ASEAN Open Institute is a recipient of YSEALI Seeds for the Future Grant Awards.
