As a Public Health Worker for Community Health, Pema Choden has experience in promotive and preventive health services. For her follow-on project in Bhutan, Pema plans to work on Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs), particularly hypertension & diabetes, through a primary healthcare approach and advocate for high-risk groups to complete NCD screenings.

Pema will be placed at Cancer Support Montana in Bozeman, MT to develop health intervention frameworks to prevent health problems in the organization's priority areas.
