Pete Sesay is the co-founder and manager of Full Circle Africa, an eco-friendly accessory brand in Sierra Leone that supports locally-owned business, employs high school students, recycles plastics, and then wraps them in eclectic Africana prints. During his fellowship in the United States, Sesay hopes to gain more knowledge on data collection and analysis, team building, networking, project management and sustainability, as well as new ways to recycle plastics. Upon his return Sierra Leone, Sesay plans to continue the recycled waste bag project which will employ hundreds of young people for the distribution of the recycled waste bags and the daily clearing of collected plastic wastes.
