Pius Coxwell Achanga is the Acting Head of the Quality Assurance Department at the National Council for Higher Education in Uganda. His role involves overseeing the establishment, planning, development and strategic guidance of all universities and other degree awarding institutions. Pius holds a PhD in Manufacturing Systems, and a Master of Science degree in Management and Information Systems, both from Cranfield University in the United Kingdom. During his UASP fellowship, Pius will be pursuing a management focus on university governance and trusteeship.
