As a gender and development project officer for the Foundation for Innovative Social Development, Renushi Sarah Ubeyratna has experience providing technical support to transform gendered power relations and norms through feminist-informed programs, campaigns, and advocacy. For his CSP practicum, Renushi collaborated with NewBridge Cleveland Center for Arts and Technology in Cleveland, Ohio where she focused on social emotional learning objectives for afterschool programming and communicating those objectives to coordinators and program providers. For her follow-on project in Sri Lanka, Renushi plans to implement a youth mentoring program that fosters gender-transformative learning and a community of care rooted in mutual respect.
