As an NGO representative to UNDPI for the World Youth Foundation, Gan Rick Kye has experience as a medical doctor in the emergency department, working with youth and vulnerable communities such as Orang Asli in Malaysia. For his CSP practicum, Gan collaborated with CORE Response in Pembroke, North Carolina. For his follow-on project in Malaysia, Gan plans to provide comprehensive education and training for disaster preparedness with a focus on vulnerable populations.
