Robert Owiti serves as the Global Bilateral Funding Lead, spearheading partnerships, and investment opportunities from non-US bilateral donors.

Robert brings vast experience in international development covering both emergency and development interventions.

Prior to joining IREX, Robert served as a Global Resource Mobilization Manager for Sasakawa Africa Association based in Ethiopia, where he led in systems strengthening and funding strategy development. He also served as the Resource Mobilization and Partnerships Manager for UNICEF in Bangladesh, leading portfolio expansion and operational excellence. As the Regional Resource Mobilization Manager for Africa for Nutrition International, he pioneered  the business development function in Africa and set up delivery processes for growth.

Robert has also  served in different leadership roles in humanitarian and development agencies across sub–Saharan Africa, including World Vision International, Oxfam International and Save the Children.
