As the Founder for I Learn Jordan Initiative, Saddam is a social entrepreneur who employs a community-based approach to empowering youth and children in disenfranchised communities. Through informal education, youth volunteerism, and global partnerships he seeks to establish safe spaces that encourage innovation, intellectual growth, and critical thinking. Saddam is an expert in community mobilization and social innovation and has developed skills in training, project management, and community outreach activities. During his fellowship in the United States, Saddam hopes to learn about proposal writing, monitoring and evaluation, and entrepreneurial educational methods while also developing his skills in community outreach, project management, and innovation. Upon returning to Jordan, Saddam plans to register his initiative as an NGO focused on providing educational opportunities to youth, children, and women in target areas.
