Sadie Traylor
Sadie Traylor is a program officer of Partnerships for the Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative (YLAI) Professional Fellows Program.
In this role, Sadie contributes to cultivating a country-wide network of meaningful program partners in the academic, nonprofit, corporate, and government spheres to support the mission and goals of the YLAI Fellowship program. Major groups of partners who Sadie is responsible for onboarding into the YLAI Fellowship include Cohort Ambassadors, local partners who collaborate with IREX to ensure a high-quality YLAI Fellowship experience on behalf of YLAI Fellows, and Fellowship Placement Organizations (FPOs), a group of unique organizations who partner individually with a YLAI Fellow on a mutually designed project during the Fellowship Placement portion of the program.
Sadie graduated magna cum laude with Phi Beta Kappa honors from Elon University with a bachelor of arts in policy studies, international and global studies, and a minor in Spanish. She also studied with the School for International Training in Peru, conducting, and ultimately publishing research on international organizations’ cultural competencies when implementing programs intended for indigenous populations. She is to be working at the intersection of U.S. foreign policy and international development in a role that contributes to fostering prosperity, inclusive development, and democratic values across the Western Hemisphere.
