Saliou Diao Barry is the CEO and co-founder of Guinean Cooperative of Agriculture and Services (Coguiapres), an organization launched in 2012 to support women producers of palm oil by providing them with machines to reduce their efforts and increase revenues. During his fellowship in the United States, he hopes to learn about environmental issues, how to manage local community conflict while implementing a local project, and also develop his skills in team management and fundraising. Upon return from the Community Solutions Program, Barry would like to strengthen the expertise of his team and expand his project to impact more people in rural areas.
