Sindy Maria Yesenia Morales Lemus
As the Owner and Manager of Sindy’s Pastelería y Más, Sindy Morales has experience in baking and making cakes (cold cakes and room-temperature cakes), a variety of pies, desserts, and delicious cookies, buying the ingredients, and training others in the culinary arts. During the fellowship, Sindy aims to learn new techniques of decoration with Chantilly cream, how to make and decorate artistic cakes with fondant, learn and make new recipes, and develop skills for increased sales and better customer service. Upon returning to Guatemala, Sindy plans to open a bakery in the city center before the end of this year (2020) and open a new bakery with a cafeteria.
