As a Project Officer for Al-Mujadilah Development Foundation, Sittie Nayilah D. Abduljaleel has experience advocating for women's leadership in peace and development and promoting the protection of women and girls from gender-based violence through capacity-building and community education. Sittie Nayilah D. Abduljaleel is placed at Wisconsin Community Services in Milwaukee, WI, to support the planning and implementation of Community Building Workshops that bring people from different walks of life together to promote greater understanding and peaceful communities. Upon returning to the Philippines, Sittie plans to provide trainings to help young women and girls become gender-responsive, culture-sensitive, effective, efficient and empowered leaders in the community.
