Sophie Auvin
Sophie Auvin is a program associate for the U.S.-Jordan Leadership Exchange Program (UJLEP). In her role, she contributes to the logistics of the U.S. exchange portion of the fellowship including outreach to fellows and host organizations, exchange onboarding, and visa applications.
Prior to joining IREX, Sophie undertook a gap year in Florianopolis, Brazil where she experienced the intersection of international exchange and development which she continued to explore during her study abroad experiences in South Korea and Peru in college. Sophie speaks Spanish and Portuguese and has picked up some Korean, Arabic, and Quechua knowledge during her studies and time abroad.
Sophie holds a bachelor of arts degree in world politics and Hispanic studies from Hamilton College and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in TESOL from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies.
