As the Co-Founder for The Advocates for Human Rights and Democracy, Stanley Tongun has experience in community development as well as human rights advocacy and research related to child protection and emergency response. Upon returning to South Sudan, Stanley plans to establish a community-based resource center with a vision and mission to advance human rights and community development. Stanley will be placed with Disability Rights Oregon in Portland, Oregon supporting their advocacy and support for people with physical or mental disabilities in underserved communities.
