Stephen Kateega is the Deputy Dean of Students for Makerere University in Kampala, Uganda. His responsibilities include monitoring the welfare and discipline of all university students and overseeing student accommodation, meal plans, sports and recreation, and counseling centers. Stephen has two master’s degrees, an MA in Public Administration and Management and a Masters of Education in Teaching English Language and Literature, as well as a Post-Graduate Diploma in Human Resources Management. Stephen researched best practices in campus life and student services, in order to apply new strategies to Makerere University campus life and student services.
