Sukri Adani has been working on community empowerment activities for nine years in Aceh Province, Indonesia. As the Program Manager at the Aceh Nutmeg Forum, Adani works closely with local communities, especially with women, to empower and improve their knowledge and their participation in income-generating activities through the development of small home industries processing nutmeg products. As a Community Solutions Fellow, Adani worked at MicroEnterprise Training and Assistance in Boise, Idaho, learning how to spur small business creation among low-income women. Having completed the Community Solutions Program, Adani is working to provide a series of trainings on entrepreneurship for female small business owners.
