Tamar Gogua is Chief Specialist of the Department of Scientific Research and Development at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU) in Tbilisi, Georgia. In this role, she oversees the research grant process from proposal to reporting, and advises faculty and students research projects and opportunities. She collects and reports research performance data. She received her Ph.D. in Technical Sciences from Georgian Technical University (GTU) in 2004 and her MS in Applied Mathematics in 2000. She is a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA). Tamar is interested in Research Management, specifically in managing intellectual property and technology transfer, and plans to create a Technology Transfer Office for TSU.
