As a Trainer and Consultant for Partners for Democratic Change Slovakia (PDCS), Tatiana Cárová helps develop and promote a culture of democracy and expand approaches for conflict prevention by supporting the values of PDCS to youth and adults through trainings and non-formal activities. She also works as a Youth Trainer for IUVENTA - Slovak Youth Institute where she focuses on youth education and engagement. As a fellow at Gannon University in Erie, Pennsylvania, Cárová established an initiative called UNITED FLAVORS OF ERIE, which was aimed at improving intercultural understanding between diverse cultural groups living in Erie through interactive culinary workshops. Each cooking workshop promoted a specific cultural flavor to be found in Erie and offered authentic, hands-on practical experience with international cuisine. Upon returning from the Community Solutions Program, she focused on increasing mutual understanding and dialogue between the public and underprivileged groups in Bratislava.
