As a freelance consultant and community development worker, Theoffany Cabanda has worked closely with academia, government offices, non-government institutions and community-based organizations on enterprise development, strategic management, and knowledge management for the past ten years. During her fellowship in the United States, she hopes to learn more about gender and development, particularly focusing on enterprise development and empowering indigenous populations. After returning home from the Community Solutions Program, Cabanda intends to develop and advocate for indigenous women entrepreneurs in her local community through the development of an enterprise development program fit to the cultural heritage of Blaans in Sarangani Province.
