As a social welfare volunteer for Humla Limi Welfare Society, Thinley Wangmo Lama has experience solving community issues related to women’s health and education. For her CSP practicum, Thinley collaborated with Pace Center for Girls in Jacksonville, Florida where she focused on an array of responsibilities to help a multi-site nonprofit organization support girls and young women. For her follow-on project in Nepal, Thinley plans to organize workshops for women focused on entrepreneurship and leadership and establish formal language classes for women in Limi Valley.
