Thomas Sithole is the Executive Director of Plumtree Development Trust, a community-based organization with a mission to facilitate sustainable people-centered development through community engagement. While in the U.S., Sithole worked with Common Cause Illinois in Chicago, focusing his efforts on a voter protection project, working as a Field Election Organizer, recruiting, organizing, and helping train poll monitors. Upon his return from the Community Solutions Program fellowship, Sithole focused his efforts on increasing the transparency of local government, concentrating specifically on public spending and budgetary practices.
