Working for the Norwegian Mission Alliance, Tran Thi Bao Nguyen has nearly five years of experience in community development projects that improve the living conditions of the vulnerable and marginalized people of the Mekong Delta through comprehensive intervention in education, livelihood, health, and environment. As a Community Solutions Program Fellow, Tran would like to learn about and gain experience in gender issues and how to integrate these issues into the work she does in her home community.

Upon returning from the program, Tran plans to apply what she has learned to encourage gender equity by using soccer clubs as a tool to integrate gender issues in schools.
