Trina Olsen is a program associate with the Fulbright Teacher Exchanges team at IREX.

In this role, Trina helps implement professional development programs for international educators.

Before joining IREX, Trina supported youth international exchange programs with Wisconsin 4-H, where she assisted with participant support and program planning, implementation, and evaluation. Trina’s interest in international exchange began with her experience as a Global Citizen Year fellow. As a fellow, Trina spent seven months living in Ecuador with a host family to learn about Ecuadorian culture and to improve her Spanish. In college, she spent a semester in Querétaro, Mexico, taking classes at the Tecnológico de Monterrey.

Trina graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in international studies and a certificate in global health.
