As a Program Support Officer for Concern Worldwide, Trokon advocates for gender equality and the prevention of abuse through trainings and other program activities. Trokon is an expert in both direct gender equality advocacy and gender mainstreaming approaches to development. He has also developed skills in project planning and management as well as creating and facilitating trainings. During his fellowship in the United States, Trokon hopes to learn about projects that effectively engage youth while also developing his skills in effective communication, community development, and humanitarian accountability approaches. Upon returning from the Community Solutions Program, Trokon plans to engage people of all ages and genders by incorporating gender equality approaches in program design, advocacy initiatives, and training workshops.
