As a Gender Program Coordinator for Girls Empowerment Network, Twambilile has experience in girls' rights and education, menstrual hygiene management, human rights-based approaches, economic empowerment models, sports for change, gender mainstreaming, and community mobilization. For her follow-on project in Malawi, Twambilile plans to create safe spaces to mentor girls and young women to empower them and eliminate all forms of violence.

Twambilile will be placed at Apna Ghar, Inc in Chicago, IL to help develop and adapt the safe space mentorship model to empower women and girls with the knowledge and skills to help them improve their capacity to speak out against gender-based violence.
