Valeria Medinaceli Molina
Valeria works in the banking and financial sector as the CFO of Munay. For women entrepreneurs between twenty-five and forty-five with access to the internet and financial institutions interested in microcredit, Munay is a credit company that offers an alternative and inclusive credit score that financial entities can use to reach new markets and gives women entrepreneurs who may have difficulty accessing traditional financial services access to credit that adjusts to their needs. Valeria's short-term goal is to conclude the company's pre-seed funding round. Their long-term goal is to transform the microfinance industry in Latin America. Coming into the YLAI Fellowship, Valeria's top business challenge is Finance. More specifically, they need to raise funds for the company. During the Fellowship Placement, Valeria hopes to gain valuable insight into developing a fundraising strategy and choosing the right investors.
