As a project coordinator for Kaporo Foundation Commutrust, Wisdom Nyondoh empowers rural communities with environmental conservation knowledge and entrepreneurship skills in order to promote an environmental paradigm shift towards conserving and improving forest ecosystems and ensuring holistic community development. During his fellowship in the United States, he hopes to learn more about networking with relevant stakeholders at local and international level, donor mapping and fundraising while also gaining experience and strengthening his skills in the local resource planning and management. Upon returning from the Community Solutions Program, Nyondoh will work with rural communities to deepen their understanding of conservation and resource management, in order to achieve a sustainable rural development.
