As a National Coordinator for Social Impact Award Tunisia, Yahya empowers youth with tools to become social entrepreneurs and potential changemakers in their communities. Yahya is an expert in youth education in social entrepreneurship and social responsibility for developing countries, and has skills in project management and mentoring students to develop social business concepts. During his fellowship in the United States, Yahya hopes to learn about his host community’s local entrepreneurship ecosystem and how the U.S. civil society is empowering its youth to take initiative, while developing his skills in fundraising, budgeting, and writing project proposals. Upon returning from the Community Solutions Program, Yahya plans to apply the tools and strategies he learned to expand Tunisia’s Social Impact Award program to other countries in the Middle East and North Africa.
