Youssef Slilem
As a co-founder and program associate for Student's Voice, Youssef Slilem has experience developing projects aimed at enhancing youth capacities, such as 21st- century skills, and spreading the culture of dialogue. For his CSP practicum, Youssef collaborated with MK Gandhi Institute for Nonviolence in Rochester, New York where he organized and facilitated community dialogues and constructive debates on timely and contentious issues. He was also involved in conflict de-escalation workshops and initiatives and aided in crafting and participating in the annual Nonviolence Intensive offered by the Gandhi Institute to the public. For his follow-on project in Morocco, Youssef plans to further spread the values tolerance and civic engagement through the creation of safe spaces for youth creativity and learning and trainings for teachers and activists.
