Zakariya El Zaidy has four years of experience combatting human trafficking. As a Co-Founder and Chief Operations Officer at Mercy Wings, El Zaidy creates strategic plans for the organization, sets organizational goals, studies the human trafficking situation in Libya, and identifies possible partners to collaborate with in order to achieve the desired impact. While in the U.S., he served as a fellow at the Global Center for Women & Justice at Vanguard University of Southern California, where he learned new skills and best practices to combat human trafficking. Having completed the Community Solutions Program, El Zaidy is concentrating on expanding his work to stop human trafficking.
