The Visiting American Professionals for Iraq program connects U.S. experts to Iraqi audiences and institutions. It provides Iraqi and American professionals the chance to create opportunities for sustained relationships and engagement.

The program recruits American experts to engage with Iraqi audiences in person or virtually through lectures, workshops, and seminars. Speakers and experts will address topics identified by the U.S. Mission in Iraq and engage with a variety of professional audiences in a wide range of disciplines.

• Support U.S. foreign-policy objectives by recruiting American experts to engage with Iraqi audiences through a virtual and in-person speaker program.
• Engage Iraqi professionals in instructive and informative experiences through training workshops and webinars focused on strategic priorities identified by the U.S. Mission in Iraq.
• Create opportunities for sustaining relationships and collaboration between American and Iraqi professionals and institutions so these relationships will endure after the program ends.
